UniFirst Corporation Announces 2015 Aldo Croatti Scholarship Recipients

WILMINGTON, Mass. () – UniFirst Corporation (NYSE: UNF), a leading provider of work uniforms and facility services to businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2015 Aldo Croatti Scholarship. The scholarship, named for UniFirst’s founder, was established to encourage and assist children of UniFirst employee Team Partners in their academic pursuits.

“Words cannot describe just how grateful I am,” said Amanda DiLeo, one of the 2015 scholarship recipients. “I am a rising junior at Virginia Tech and thanks to the generosity of this scholarship, I will not feel as burdened financially and will be able to focus more on my studies.”

Each year, 12 scholarships are awarded to students enrolled or enrolling in full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited two- or four-year college or vocational/technical school. Applications are open to children of full-time UniFirst or subsidiary employee Team Partners who have a minimum of one year of employment with the company. To date, UniFirst has granted 132 scholarships totaling more than $264,000.
